Tallaght Swim Team
Tallaght Swim Team is a competitive swimming club based in Tallaght, Dublin 24. Membership includes swimmers of various abilities, from those just moving up from swimming classes to those competing at Club, Provincial, National and International level.
One of our Swimmers, Brendan Hyland has broken the Irish Junior and Senior Record for the 200m Fly with a time of just 1:59.17 sc and 1:59.92. Brendan also holds a number of Irish Junior records including the 400IM.
Tallaght Swim Team currently have 5 members swimming full time with the High Performance Squad in the National Aquatics Centre. These swimmers have progressed through the club and have moved on to the High Performance Squad and are now part of the National Senior and Junior Squads representing Ireland in events here and abroad.
The club welcomes new members of all ages to join, develop and improve their swimming skills and compete in competitions. The swim team trains regularly and once a swimmer has tried out for the team they are placed in a squad which matches their ability. The squads range from the Transition /Learning Class which is for swimmers moving up from Lessons to our A squad who compete at National and International Levels.

Swimming may be seen by many as an individual sport however once a swimmer becomes part of a club they have the full support and encouragement of their team behind them.
